WHAT TO EXPECT
01
Phone Consultation
Request a free 20 minute phone consultation to discuss your aspirations for therapy. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Appointments available:
Monday – Friday (10am – 8pm) and Saturday – Sunday (10am – 1pm).
2
Initial Session
All sessions last 50 minutes and can take place at one of our clinics or online via Zoom. During the initial session I will endeavour to understand your main concerns. We will discuss your therapy goals and we will formulate a therapy plan. If we are a good fit, you can book further therapy sessions.
3
Start Therapy
Weekly therapy sessions often provide the best results. You can start with weekly sessions and then move to fortnightly if you wish. We can discuss how many sessions you may need, depending on the severity of the issues discussed. We usually have a review after six sessions. Therapy typically lasts between 12-18 sessions. This can be less or more depending on your situation.

Therapies
All therapeutic modalities provided are evidence-based which follow the recommendations set by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
This approach focuses on current difficulties by helping you change the way you think, feel and behave in response to difficult life events. It offers practical solutions to help with everyday difficulties. It is effective in dealing with anxiety and depression.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
This approach focuses on past experiences which have contributed to your current difficulties. Early childhood relationships and experiences often shape our current behaviour; getting a better understanding of the past can offer more clarity on the present. It is effective in addressing past trauma.
Cognitive Analytic Therapy
This approach focuses on how your relationships, both with yourself and others, can influence your feelings and behaviour. It explores these relationships and encourages you to make positive changes. It is effective if you struggle to establish and sustain robust relationships with others.
